A void not filled with words
Wonder through in thought
Cities made from dreams and fears
Walls cover the distant years
Rain falls down
Streaks the glass
The night glows
Upon the past
Neon signs shroud my gaze
And empty glow resides
A shiver down my spine
Buildings black and formless
The streets with blank names
Strangers pass me on the way
Their faces all the same
Rain falls down
Streaks the glass
The night glows
Upon the past
A wave of memories flow in
The city soaks and expands
I sit and look across the bars
Shudder from the cold inside
The mist of dusk
Luring me down
Reaching out to
The cries of the wind
This empire a formless ruin
Traveling through trees and stone
Live in the depths of the black lake
Zodiac of this formless land
Celestial spheres collide
The great pendulum
Image of the mind’s eye
Rise and fall
Paradox
Projected shapes align
The clouds move in the grey
A dull rose fading away
My voyage
Continues
The city fades
The eclipse of shadows
Time stands still

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

This whole album is flawless. This is music for walking in the rain and letting your thoughts run. It's not just a collection of songs, but an actual album. yakbone

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
